When considering our dinghy anchor, we knew wanted a Mantus Anchor. Practical Sailor magazine agrees, a December 2015 article named the Mantus dinghy anchor their “Best Choice,” too. Will be reviewing our new anchor addition once we get to the Bahamas.
Dan Buoy– We knew from the outset that we wanted a Dan Buoy from Just Marine even before we found our sailboat. It is a self inflating, crew overboard safety device that auto inflates once you throw it into the water. It will help you locate your crew overboard both day and night. We keep ours next to the helm in the cockpit while underway.
